NCSU STUDENTS TO TOUR AMERICAN WOODYARDS
RALEIGH, NC (FEBRUARY 10, 2011) – NC State University student tours will take place at American Woodyards, February 15, 16 and 17. During the tour members will receive an overview from the woodyard manager, Don Wells, and have the opportunity to learn about woodyard operations involving the sawmill, firewood, lumber and kiln processes. This is the second year a group of Dr. Richard Braham’s students, taking Introduction to Forest Science (Forestry FOR252), have participated. American Woodyards anticipates another tour group in March.
